Regime and reserves

Final target of hydrogeologic and other exploration is to determinate reserves of underground water of specific type of bearing or some single parts. Determination of underground water reserves represent needful prerequisite for any other planning in the use of these resource. Determination of reserves represents line of complex hydrogeological investigations and activities, which is composing of works on terrain and in cabinet.

Fortification of reserves and their attestation in resource Ministry are regulating with legal country enactment. In our country in usage are next law and rules, which are directly relate on underground water reserves:

For determination underground waters reserves, according to statute is necessary to observe water regime, apropos to observe regime changes.

Under the regime of underground waters it is alluding on dynamic process which is under the influence of a line of natural and artificial factories with a mutually effect in the time and space. Within regime concept, there are many elements, which mirror on a forming, exciting, and restorating conditions or simply on a living of some mineral water types.  As special elements of regime, we mark of:

  • water level fluctuation (piezometric pressure)
  • yield transformation
  • fluctuation of physical characteristics
  • fluctuation of chemical, gas and bacteriology composition
  • rate of prominence and stability
  • fluctuation of radioactivity and mineralization
